IVF#1 - Failure

For some reason I'm reminded of that song from Hee Haw - "Gloom, despair and agony on me, deep dark depression, excessive misery. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all..."

How can medicine have come so far and still fall short of having all the necessary answers?

  1. (HUGS) Man, that IS full of suck. I'm so sorry. Plenty of people have had to go a couple rounds of IVF, though, so maybe this was just a practice run? And practice makes perfect? Sorry, shutting up now.

  2. I am so, so, so sorry. I think this is even worse than a negative beta. You go through all of the trouble and get none of the hope.

Many, many hugs, gallons of wine (and whine) and lots of good thoughts for the next round!

  6. Also here from LFCA. I know exactly how you feel. My IVF#1 was cancelled after no embies made it to blast (the last one failed on the day of transfer). I'm so sorry. It's such an awful situation. I am thinking of you and sending you peace.
