It's true we only see what we want to. The things that point against the view we want to hold to us become transparent like a window screen against the scenery outdoors.
Sure we know they are there, but chose to ignore them. At least until they refuse to be ignored.
This morning I was no longer able to ignore the signs. Back to square 1. Again. Like a Monopoly game, go straight to jail. Do not pass Go, and however the rest of that goes.
I just want to know when my roll of the dice is going to put me in the winners circle on this merry-go-round.
*Many apologies for the mixed metaphors. DH left early this AM for several days away required by his work. While I wasn't up at the crack of before dawn with him, I still didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked.
