Dear Google...

I love you. I really do. Once you came on the scene it was so long Yahoo, see you later AOL, and so long Ask Jeeves, you are scheduled for early retirement.

But killing my Reader? The first page I open after my browser comes up with Google as my home page and I log into Gmail?  The page I open before Facebook and Twitter & stays open all day?

You are cruel, oh so cruel, to so casually stomp on your faithful users in this manner.

What's next? Deciding that Blogger has to go? Or will it be Gmail...the one you used to have to get an invitation to join?

Oh? What's that? Not your concern because we private users aren't bringing in the money like the corporate accounts and such?

Gee, perhaps I need to find another search engine after all...I hear some decent things about bing...It's a little 90's, maybe, but their maps and driving directions are better anyway.

Do you remember what Spiderman's Uncle told him? That with great power comes great responsibility - you have both, please do the right thing and reinstate your support of Reader.

Kisses,
Someone who is starting to think the kool-aid tastes a little funny.

  1. I really wish they weren't killing it. And I have big fears for the blogger platform in the future, which may be unfounded. I'm hoping Google comes around with this one, but if they don't, I have two feed readers in place now.
