My husband grabbed my laptop by the top of the monitor last night (it was open on the other side of me but my hands were full of baby so I couldn't pass it to him) and "crack" was heard as he moved it. There is now a nice 3/8" wide white line down the center of the monitor.
Ironic thing- the warranty expired 5 days ago (as of today).
I'm just glad it wasn't me who did it! (but it still pisses me off)
