Just a quickie since I'm only here at work for a half-day, so have to be extra productive.
I hope everyone has a satisfactory Thanksgiving feast, safe travels, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
We are heading home to my parents this afternoon and will spend a couple of nights there before heading up to our condo for a couple of nights before heading back home, exhausted and a few pounds heavier, on Sunday. In the midst of this we will be transporting my grandmother, and our dog, attending the UVa vs. Tech game on Saturday (Go Hoos!), and helping out at Wintergreen Ski Patrol's annual "Ski Swap." Good times, good times.
I have to admit, I broke down and tuned into the Christmas music channel at work this morning. But I'm not a fan of what seems to be a trend of earlier and earlier, pre-Thanksgiving, wait, make that pre-Halloween, displays of "evergreens" and red bows at all the local shopping centers. After Thanksgiving is early enough for me!

I know! I can handle the pre-Thankgiving Christmas displays, but pre-Halloween is a bit too much!
ReplyDeleteI listened to a little Christmas music the other day, but I had to turn it off. It was just too early.
