It's Here!

My new laptop came yesterday, and I am so excited!

{insert squealing and generally happy noises and happy dance here}

But now I have a problem...the poor thing is nekkid. It doesn't have a "home" in our house yet, so for now it is sitting in the office on my DH's desk, but I would prefer to have it in a bag to minimize any potential damage as I move it around the house and travel (in the future).

So, dear internets, I need your help with suggestions for bags.

I prefer not all black, or all leather, or too heavy, or too much $$$. $ to $$ range is best.

Oh no, I'm not picky. Ha! But we do need a bag my husband won't be ashamed to use as well, and which has some storage for the power cord and other accessories. Dark blue or green would be good, maybe red or orange too. For some reason I have a horror of a black laptop in a black bag. My fear is that one day I'll look in and all the black will have melded and the laptop will have gone poof. I have no explanation for that irrationality.


(I found one yesterday at Marshall's which was perfect except for the part where it was just a hair too small when I tried to put the laptop in it last night...augh. And I also saw the cutest diaper bags - too bad I don't need to buy one just yet. Anyway, back to the topic.)


Any suggestions on where I can look? Or what bag do you have and what do you like / dislike about it?
