So, I've wandered around this morning and seen some wonderful posts asking questions about the readers, or reflecting on what it means to have readers, and am intimidated. I don't track any statistics or have a site counter, and I'm still learning about this, so bear with me. I'd like to respond to every comment because I heart comments, and I heart you for taking the time to leave a comment, even when it's not an official "delurk" day, but I don't always get an email address with a comment - maybe that's just the way I've set up Blogger or the way Blogger is by itself? If any one has any suggestions for that (or statistics trackers, or site counters), I'd love to know. And if you can't leave me a comment for some reason, please send me an email to let me know, it's in my "About Me" profile, over there to the right.
If you don't have any knowledge about the technical aspects, how about we have a discussion about your and my favorite things about fall (and cooler weather)? I'll go first, 'k? I really am happy to have cooler weather coming because I get to wear different clothes - I'm tired of wearing my spring/summer clothing and sandals, and very ready to wear sweaters and cords, and jeans and boots.
Now back to that thing that helps pay my bills...
Fall is my favorite season because it has great weather (cool enough for jeans and a tee-shirt or light sweater without being freezing cold yet), and because it has Halloween. Also, as dorky as this is, it is really pretty here during Fall with the leaves changing color.

the lack of access to email addresses is one of the downsides to blogger, sadly!
ReplyDeleteas for fall, I like wearing blazers/jackets and eating pumpkin-y foods.
As for a stat tracking, I'd use google analytics or site meter...then go from there.

ReplyDeleteI use Wordpress, so it sends me people's emails (only IF they put them in, though) which makes it easier. Not sure about Blogger, sorry!
ReplyDeleteI like Fall because ... it reminds me that across the world, people are celebrating different weather, different food, different special occasions (eg Halloween, Thanksgiving) that I've never experienced before. And it makes me smile. But also sad!
Like the others said, you don't get e-mail addresses through blogger. I think you can change the commenting thing somehow, but I have no idea how. Very helpful, I know.

I love my fall wardrobe...jeans and a sweater. And also, I'm a freak for Halloween so I love that about fall too!
