This morning my DH was looking at the weather forcast for next week. Monday's high is projected to be somewhere around 48 degrees. IN APRIL! At the beginning of March we were in the 80's. The weather is sure getting freaky.
Here's the neener, neener, neener - we're not going to be here. We will be enjoying 80+ degree weather while our home area gets refrigerated.
The to-do list is not getting any shorter. Ugh! I tried to pack last night and my clothes completely filled the suitcase with no room for toiletries. Guess I'll have to rethink my clothing requirements since there is no way I can minimize my other items. 3 oz. is fine for a weekend, but not for a week.
Darn the TSA for making me pack the stuff I used to bring in my carry on (because I didn't want it to leak all over my clothes, or have to worry about it getting lost when my luggage got searched, or not have it because my luggage got lost). Even if I put it all in Ziploc bags the liquids can still leak and I DO NOT want to arrive and have to wash anything icky out of my clothing! I understand the "safety concerns" and all, but it is a serious pain in my patootie!
Bet the wife of the TSA head doesn't have to put up with this shit.
Must repeat to myself: Days of sun and relaxation makes it all worthwhile!

According to the airline website each passenger is allowed two checked bags, of no more than 50 lbs. each. Problem solved. Toilettries and shoes go in the 2nd bag with no chance of ick gettting on my clothes unless the TSA screener drools on them or spills his/her drink. Yay for a 2nd bag!
